Sinusitis
What is Sinusitis?
Sinusitis is the inflammation or swelling of the tissue lining the sinuses. Sinuses are hollow spaces within the bones around the nose, eyes, and forehead. When sinuses become blocked or filled with fluid, bacteria, viruses, or fungi can grow and cause infection.
